Full custom rifle with many unique features: DWM Brazilian 98 action, P14 bottom metal with engraved floorplate, capacity 4 +1. Rust blue finish, case colored bolt shroud and striker, original safety checkered and engraved with S. Checkered bolt release, checkered and engraved prominent bolt handle. McGowan oversized barrel 23" engraved with caliber, with custom bayonet mount banded sling stud and custom banded ramp with oversize hood. 3 leaf express sight mounted on an island base screwed and silver soldered. 11 degree crown. Custom stock with extra meat though wrist, LOP 15" through Pachmyr Old English pad, and inletted sling stud also bayonet mount. Wrap sling. English style 24 LPI wrap checkering. At 10lb, extremely comfortable to shoot, first leaf on at 100 yds and it kills buffalo all the way to 250!
This is the "prototype" for our Bad Boy V (5 round capacity) offering based on a mil or comml mauser action .. complementing our Mauser BB IV (comml Mauser 4 round), P14 BB VI (Enfield 6 round), and Steyr BB VIII (eight round) line of semi custom safari rifle kits.
While we occasioinally sight, stock, engrave and/or finish rifles we are NOT a rifle manufacturer and thus we prefer that customers commission their own finished rifles using our kits. The kit always comprises the major metal components, optionally the sights, and sometimes a finished synthetic or semi-finished wood stock. We can however put together a rifle on a customer-supplied action provided it is within the envelope of experience embodied in the Bad Boy range. Our aim is to provide a cost-effective avenue to a custom dangerous game rifle.
