Fresh unfired custom build on a matching-number Nazi 98 action - the gold standard of controlled round feed actions - with the intent of making a unique but affordable working DG rifle with traditional custom touches: engraved and stippled action rings, 24" medium heavy contour barrel, border-engraved bottom metal with contoured trigger bow and extended release that won't swing open and dump your cartridges under recoil, serrated bolt stop, engraved and stippled custom quarter rib with three leaf express sight, a stippled Masterpiece banded front ramp with fiberoptic bead, hand-carded rust blue finish. Case colored bolt shroud, with Mauser flag safety checkered and marked S and F; single stage trigger worked to 5lbs letoff. No D&T, no scope safety, this is a DG rifle! Glass-bedded in a working cross-bolted wood stock with sling studs in black and gray digital camo finish. Will stock in a Sunday stock POR. Will install any trigger you prefer for the cost of the trigger. Will file sight leaves for your choice of distances/ammo for addl $100 plus ammo; and hand engrave your initials on trigger bow for $75. 8.5lb dry.
