It Ranges from Light Brown to Darker Brown with Dark Brown Streaks.
It is Grown in the Pacific Northwest of the USA.
NO 2 PAIR OF GRIPS ARE THE SAME.
EACH WILL HAVE BEAUTIFULLY FIGURED ORIGINAL GRAIN, DIFFERING FROM OTHERS.
YOU WILL NOT GET THE PAIR SHOWN IN THE PICTURE!
The Ruger Vaquero made from 1972-2004 is the XR3-RED Model.
This is easily determined as XR3-RED is stamped in the grip frame under the grips.
Simply remove the grips to determine if your Model applies.
