Description:
The original wood haft is red ochre striped with a blacksmith made iron head. Mr. Dresslar felt this would date as early as the French and  Indian War era to the American Revolution.  Jim was a relic hunter and owner of the American Frontier Museum in Bargersville, Indiana. 
Condition- The iron head is heavily pitted over most of the surface and has been sharpened at one time. The haft has a wonderful well worn dark  age patina on the wood and it"s red ochre stripes.
Overall length approx. 19.5" .
Width of blade 4.4".
