Right hammer was replaced at some point, shape and screw match but engraving is slightly different.
Really nice sidelever hammergun from a top quality London maker with nicley figured walnut. A small amount of original case color remains on the locks.
This is a great handling gun that balances 1/2" in front of the hinge pin. Most of these older hammerguns are still black powder proof, this gun was reproofed for 2 3/4" nitro in 2002 and can use modern off the self 2 3/4" ammo up to 1 1/8oz without issue. If you prefer choke tubes they can easily be added to this gun. Great game/clays hammergun
