Winchester Model 1873 Sporting Rifle .32 WCF s/n 580084B mfg 1904 – 24” Octagon barrel; full magazine; Sporting front and rear sights with a Lyman tang sight; American walnut varnish finished stocks with rifle buttplate. Condition is near new in all respects and retains all of the original blued and color case hardened finishes from an old but very professionally done restoration. Straight-grain American stocks retain nearly all of their high gloss varnish finish. Includes a Winchester factory research sheet from the Cody Firearms Museum verifying all aspects of this rifle except for the period correct Lyman tang sight currently installed in the original threaded factory mounting holes, most likely added back when the gun was in use. An absolutely beautiful collectors Winchester with a superb restoration in which only the experienced trained eye can discern from the original factory work.
