We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Shipping insurance is available upon request for an extra fee. We cannot do international sales. As of November 2019, we no longer ship guns to California and Hawaii.

The Desert Tech MDRX is one of the most advanced bullpup designs to come out in the last decade. It is designed to be modular with the ability to change caliber via simple kits. Kits include the 5.56 (for those that aren’t sold in that caliber), .300 BLK, .308 Winchester, and 6.5 Creedmoor. Overall length of the rifle is 28.0 inches from the back of the butt pad to the tip of the compensator. Some improvements have been made to the MDRX since the first models came out in 2017. The strength of the polymers has been improved and the MDRX is fully capable of passing Mil-spec drop tests. The two-stage trigger has been improved by reducing the creep and travel distance. The MDRX now features Desert Tech’s patent pending “Free Flow” gas valve technology which improves the flow of gas and minimizes leakage. The new ratchet compensator is designed to reduce felt recoil by over 50% as well as significantly reduce muzzle rise, providing for a more accurate shooting platform. The charging handle has been redesigned to be both stronger and lighter. The 16” barrel is made of 4140 steel and features a light profile for weight reduction. It is finished in a nice Melonite coating for high resistance to the elements. Twist rate is 1 in 7 inches for stabilizing the heaviest bullets available for the 5.56/.223 caliber. The rifle sports a multi-tone FDE finish. It does not come with sights and is considered “optic ready”. The fore end is M-LOK compatible. The rifle shown here is a forward ejecting model rather than the side ejecting type. This new in the box rifle comes with one 30-round PMAG. The MDRX is suitable for a variety of tasks such as home defense, truck gun, and bug-out rifle.
