This is the only site I use and do not plan to change. Description: This fine rifle has an as new bore in a 28 inch special order number 4 heavy half octagon barrel. The gun is mounted with a L. N. Mogg telescope with Mogg mounts. The rear mount has elevation and the front mount is adjustable for windage. It has a swiss style butt plate. It comes with a copy of the Mogg 1900 catalogue as well as four early 1900's about this or simular rifles. The muzzle is ported according to the Kent patent. It is almost certainly the rifle discussed in Vol. 33 No. 12 Jan 1903 S&F by Charles Winthrop Sawer. The scope has two dots for 100 and 200 yards. It is believed that this may have been L. N. Bogg's personal rifle. Use the ZOOM feature to make your evaluation of this fine piece. Antique no paperwork $80.00 shipping in a hard case. Price: $6,750.00 Antique: Yes |
