Description:
With a serial #739054, of .50 Caliber,and a heavy 24” octagon barrel with a bright excellent bore. The barrel of this Spanish made rifle retains 96% satin blue finish with a bit of high edge loss at the muzzle. The casehardened sideplate shows muted colors with freckling, the brass furniture has mellowed nicely showing some oxidation on the buttplate with the hand scratched initials “E.L.” on the bottom of the triggerguard. The light stained walnut stock rates near excellent with a gloss polyurethane finish displaying a few scattered handling marks. The rifle features drum and nipple ignition, fully adjustable rear sight, functioning two tumbler lock and includes a brass tipped hardwood ramrod. A short easy carry rifle that has seen minimal use for the upcoming primitive firearms season and for the highlands.
