Up for sale we have a super rare and highly collectible genuine M1D Garand sniper rifle made by Springfield Arsenal with a 1.5M serial number and Korean era cheek pad and sling, This guns functions flawlessly and puts rounds reliabily down range with accuracy all day long. The M84 optic appears to be a reproduction. Nice shape but no SN on the ID plate (please see pictures). Bolt is SA marked. No cartouches visible. Trigger group is S/A Marked. Barrel is marked SA 1-52 as shown in the last photo. Bore is mint and crown is perfect. Appears to be a WWII production rifle that was rebarrelled and converted to M1D for the Korean War. This rifle is C&R Eligible.
