If you're using shooting sticks when you hunt I've come up with something that may interest you. I designed this isolator and have been testing it for a few seasons now and its helped me to be quieter in the woods.
Nothing telegraphs your presence more than your scent but aluminum tripod legs clanking together as you move through the woods is a dead give away as well. Attaching the isolator to your sticks keeps the legs from making contact with each other vastly improving your ability to be quiet when stalking. Once attached to the lower section of your tripod you can also deploy your leg sections much more quickly by unlocking all sections at once and using the isolator to extend the legs in one move rather than three. I always start deployment with the middle section first, then the lower section. Slide the isolator mid way up the lower section once extended for most effective results. Easily releases to splay the legs out but doesn't ever need to be removed as it will stay in place on one leg. Works on lower leg diameter of 1/2 inch. Made from high density foam which works well in all temperatures.
