EARLY AFGHAN FLINTLOCK JEZAIL MUSKET WITH EAST INDIA COMPANY LOCK CIRCA 1820’S-30’S. 54” o/a with Indian made 40” round smoothbore .60 cal. barrel with cannon form muzzle. Full length stock with classic “crooked” butt stock. Lock plate with East India Company “LION RAMPANT/IMPERIAL CROWN” trademark forward of hammer. Royal Ordnance “CROWN/3” stamp below pan. Very colorful all original including all the lock parts. With typical wear and deep aged patina. Scarce First Anglo-Afghan War era original flint. Most seen in later percussion form. Lock in working order. Original leather sling.
