Circa 1860's Confederate short Pattern Artillery sword ""Gladiator"". Sword has no visible markings, blade is 18.75"" in length with a dark grey patina. Tip of the blade has been broken off. Leather scabbard is in overall fair condition, splitting is noticeable along some the edges. Leather frog has become unattached to scabbard.
