Description:
REDUCED! $1950
This is the earliest production Russian M1895 Nagant revolver - made at the Tula factory in 1899. It is absolutely original non-refurbished, non-import gun! Early components are present including a half-moon front sight and an early factory stamp. The gun is a mismatch with frame, trigger guard and cylinder all within a 1000 serial of each other. The side plate matches the frame. The gun was captured by Finns during the Winter war of 1939, and is marked with a Finnish Army "SA" stamp, making it an incredibly rare example. The original  finish is worn and greying but there is no pitting and all the imperial proofs are sharp. Bore is shiny and bright with pronounced rifling. Nice grips without cracks. Many Nagant  collectors never have a chance to own the first year production example, let alone one with Finn capture history.
3-day inspection.
