Inspections for returns must be done at FFL before leaving the premises. Returns require the gun in the exact same condition as it left the Seller. Revolvers should not be dry fired multiple times during inspection to avoid deeper turn lines on collectible guns.

WAS $3650- REDUCED TO $3500!!!! I am slowly selling my private collection so here is another of my "babies" offered from my collection. This beautiful 1964/1966 (COLT SER # LOOKUP) Colt Detective Special was master engraved by hand as documented with a letter from the master engraver, Rudy Marek, found in the old original tattered Colt box. Rudy worked engraving for Colt for a while around this time and also did private engraving outside of Colt. I was told if he signed the piece it meant it was done as a private contract outside of working at Colt. This one is signed by Mr. Marek. This Colt is beautifully master engraved and finished in Satin Nickel, wearing a gorgeous pair of Stag grips with Colt medallions. No two engravings are alike and the hand tooling on this one is incredible. The fact it is lettered by the late Master Engraver Rudy Marek makes this very rare and collectible.

Anyone requesting a return, must inspect the gun with the FFL dealer present as a witness during the entire inspection and before you take ownership and leave the dealer's location. The gun should not be dry fired. The gun cannot be returned once it leaves the premises of the FFL receiving and inspecting the gun. I ask you please CALL ME with any concerns DURING the inspection. If it goes to VM for any reason, I promise to call back the minute I get the message only if you leave me a message. Due to massive SPAM, I do not return "missed calls" without a voicemail. No warranties expressed or implied.
