Description:
Browning Superposed 12 gauge B2G grade Superlight. Made in 1982 this Belgian Browning has 27 ½” vent rib barrels with fixed IC/IM chokes. The superlight frame was beautifully engraved in the B2G game bird scene by Lillian Pirotte, who was active at Browning from 1955-early 80’s.
The straight grip “perch belly” stock has a 14 3/8” LOP over the FN butt plate, 1 1/2” DAC and 2 1/8” DAH with neutral cast. The forearm is a fast tapering field style.
The gun remains in 98%+ overall condition with just a few “rubs” on the left side of the oil finished stock. Weighs 6 lbs. 12 oz. Great upland game gun.
Comes in a Browning luggage style case. The name “Henry A Martens” is engraved on the trigger guard.
