This must be the best "as new in the box" early Mosel 57 revolvers out there - a 1965 production blued gun with 6 inch barrel, chambered in .41 Remington Magnum. The gun looks brand new and unfired with no evidence of firing on the recoil shield and no powder residue on the cylinder. The ONLY wear and a a very light incomplete cylinder ring just from cocking the hammer and rotating the cylinder a couple of times. The early "cokes" grips are near new as well with a tiny ding on the lower edge as pictured. The gun is a complete set that comes with an original early manual(showing the gun wearing "cokes"), a copy of warranty card, all the tools - all housed in a rare wood grain paper veneer box that is MINT and a rarity by itself as only a couple of hundred were made experimentally before S&W decided to go back to the regular wood boxes.
Cool serial number that reads the same backwards: S 255552 !
