Serial No. 738815, circa 1940, .38 S&W, 6"" round British proofed marked barrel. War time Lend-Lease gun sent to England. Serial numbers are matching, 95% blue remains with light scratches visible, mostly right side barrel. Bore is bright with scattered areas of light frosting visible in the grooves, rifling remains strong. Brown checkered grips have minor wear noted at the bottom, lanyard loop has been removed. Action indexes correctly with a tight lock up. CONSIGNMENT
