PRE-WW2 RARE THIRD REICH OFFICER’S ARMISTICE LION HEAD DRESS SWORD AND SCABBARD BY PAUL WEYERSBERG & CO. SOLINGEN. 35” o/a with 29” very ornate etched and engraved nickel plated blade signed on back with makers name and location. Extra fancy etched, engraved and gilded brass Lion Head hilt with sharkskin grip wrap and triple brass retaining wire. Lion head with ruby eyes with one ruby missing. Langets with “EAGLE” motif on one and the monogram “W/B” on the other. One of the most ornate and rarest of German Officer’s swords and in excellent condition with all the plating on the blade and much of the gilding on the hilt. Steel scabbard with all the black finish. Grip wrap and wire all original and in fine condition. 100% original in every respect.
