NAPOLEONIC WARS BRITISH GEORGE III FLINTLOCK LIGHT DRAGOON PISTOL BY BOND OF LONDON. 16” o/a with 9” smoothbore .66 cal. round barrel. Brass mounts, walnut stock and original iron ramrod. Exceptionally nice all original and in original flint not a reconversion. . Type carried by Light Dragoon and Volunteer Cavalry Regiments during the Wars of the French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars. Textbook example of Light Dragoon signed on lock by the well known London Gunmakers “E & W. BOND” and having London Proof Marks on the barrel at the breech. Has all the original finish on the wood and beautiful metal patina. Perfect working order and excellent bore. Old collection tag attached. Superior overall.
