We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. The Glock G17 has always been popular as a self-defense pistol, whether it be in the home, the car, or even as conceal carry pistol, though it is generally considered a bit too big for that role. It has seen extensive use with law enforcement and military organizations worldwide. With the C model, the slide has been cut out in two places to accommodate two ports in the barrel. These help redirect some of the gases that would otherwise exit the muzzle, directing them upward instead. This helps dampen the recoil of the pistol, allowing the shooter to put the sights back on target faster and therefore providing quicker follow-up shots. Included with the gun and box are the manual, two 17-round magazines, a Glock magazine loading tool, and a cleaning brush and rod. One of the best features of the Glock pistol is the massive aftermarket available to a Glock owner that wishes to customize their Glock pistol a bit. There are thousands of different options available in just replacement parts alone. This includes replacements for the trigger return spring, entirely new trigger systems, pins, controls, barrels, recoil springs, magazine release buttons, extended magazines, sights, and rear slide plates. There are many lights, lasers, and combos that will fit the Glock’s frame rail.
