21" Tapered round barrel.

Fully figured walnut stock with classic wrap-around point-pattern checkering with mullered borders, classic comb, inletted swivel studs, skeleton pistol grip cap and buttplate---both checkered within.

French gray, short-action, Dakota 76, with hinged straddle floorplate and three-panel checkered bolt knob, extensively factory engraved by Giuseppe Forte---fine English rose & scroll on action, bottom metal, grip cap and buttplate, and with a baying elk on the floorplate and the monogram NA, for Norma Allen, on the triggerguard---both in raised gold.

Leupold Vari-X III 2.5 - 8x matte-finish scope with fine duplex reticle on Leupold rings fixed to custom integrated bases. Pull: 13 1/2". Weight: 8lbs. The first Dakota 76 short action, serial number K0001. Never before offered for sale. Virtually new condition.
