Description:
This 7.65mm (32 ACP) Browning Model 1922 was made for the German Army during WWII. The 4.5" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling and Wa140 proof marks on the obverse side o the barrel. The gun retains approx. 97% of its wartime blue finish. The left side of the slide is marked FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE HERSTAL BELGIQUE over BROWNING PATENT DEPOSE. There is a German eagle inspection mark on the slide and the frame. The slide also has the WaA140 Waffenamt stamp. The checkered wood grips are the original period grips with minor scrapes and dings. The magazine has the FN logo and is marked 7.65mm. The action functions correctly. The desirable brown drop holster is excellent with tight white stitching. The inside flap is ink stamped Nur fur lange over Browning-Pistole over Kal. 7,65. The correct spare magazine is present. The WaA140 Browning Model 1922 is a must for any WWII German military pistol collection. You won't find a better rig than this one. It would be hard to upgrade this rig especially with a super drop holster and two mags. These were favored by Goring’s Luftwaffe piolets. Once pieces like this are absorbed in the collector’s market they are basically “GONE”. Hard assets are the wave of the future. For payment we will accept personal checks, money orders, certified check or cashiers’ check, all major credit cards.  The “out the door price” includes credit card fees / shipping / insurance. Personal checks require 8 business days to clear the bank, all other forms of payment receive same day as received shipment. You are responsible for any state and local laws. By purchase of this item, you release the seller from any liability that may arise due to use or misuse of this firearm. If you are in the Middle Tennessee area, please visit us at “The Bunker” in Cookeville TN.
