Here we are offering a near mint Husqvarna 1907 service pistol rig consisting of the pistol, three magazines, and a WWII 1940 dated (correct) holster. The Swedish Arsenal rebuilt many of these pistols and they were used extensively throughout WWII. They were originally chambered for the 9mm Browning Long Caliber. As with almost all these pistols that are to be found in the States they have been converted to the desirable.380 auto (which is easily obtainable). This piece bears the infantry markings I 4 No1033 and is stamped .380 on the left side of the frame. The serial number 45662 dates production between 1934-1938. The Swedish Service Holster bears the Swedish Crown and I.16 infantry markings along with a WWII 1940 date. This is a high condition example of a WWII rig in outstanding condition. These pistols are basically giant versions of the Colt Model 1908 Pocket Hammerless and they are popular among collectors. Once pieces like this are absorbed in the collector’s market they are basically “GONE”. Hard assets are the wave of the future.
