Circa 1956 reprint of 1867 edition by Dept of the Army. 5.5”x8.5” soft cover (blue) with 12 pages including line engraving drawings with pinpoint printing(NOT modern scanned images). Ray Riling had these reprinted in the 1950’s utilizing the original Springfield United States Armory and Army “Rules for Management” of the 2nd generation Trapdoor Rifle versions converted post Civil War. Make a nice accompaniment to any trapdoor rifle.
