Description:
Miroku SxS boxlock 12 gauge shotgun. If the “bones” of this gun looks familiar it should; under another name this is almost exactly the same gun as a Browning BSS!
That is the only similarity that this custom embellished SxS has to the BSS since this gun was completely upgraded for its original owner. The straight grip stock and splinter forearm were specially crafted for this gun from a select piece of American Walnut and finished with 28 LPI flawless checkering, hand rubbed oil and a full leather recoil pad. Embedded in the bottom of the stock are the gold initials ALH. 13 3/4" LOP over the leather recoil pad, 1 5/8" DAC, 2 1/4" DAH with 1/4" right hand cast.
The action was game scene engraved with three gold inlays by master engraver Walter Kolouch; so signed “WK” and the trigger guard was inscribed with Ref 001.
The 26” barrels are factory chambered for 3” shells and choked Mod/Full. The top rib was inscribed “MADE FOR A L HOFFMAN”.
Other than the wood finish needs touched-up, the gun is in 98%+ condition. Weighs 6 lbs. 14 oz.
