Here is an old timer with patent date of May 27,1879 on top strap.It is a 7 shot .22 of some kind,though it cannot shoot any modern .22 cartridge.It would be very dangerous to do so ; besides a loss of money spent.It works pretty good for its age,though lockup is loose.Lots of nickel on frame,though it could be improved some in other areas.Especially on barrel needs some attention.A good piece for entry level,or type collector. I sell my antique guns for display,or collecting.If intending to shoot,one must have a gunsmith check for safety and proper load.
