Description:
"

.74 caliber 43"" smoothbore Massachusetts Committee of Safety Revolutionary War musket in untouched attic condition. Lock plate appears to be of a British style 1730s pattern, only mark found is the Tower inspection. Metal is a dark brownish grey patina throughout with some pitting noted at the pan. Stock is made of American cherry wood and shows some ""combat"" wear. 2"" of wood is missing near the muzzle including the front pipe. Multiple cracks are noted throughout. This musket was sold to William Guthman in 1979 from the Essex Institute. A great Rev. War long arm!

Price: $15,995.00
