In my collection since the early 1980's, this M1878 (10,xxx) in nickel is mechanically fine and bore is as pictured. Letter from Colt received in 2021 indicates that this revolver was shipped to Schoverling, Daly & Gales on March 19, 1883. Please voicemail me if additional info needed.
