Description:
"NSN, circa early 1800's, 14ga, 37"" octagonal to round barrel. Barrel is a dark brown/grey patina with scattered surface oxidation visible. Lock plate is a a light grey patina with ""SIMMONS""marked rear of the feather spring Simmons is noted to have worked out of London from 1807-1830. Stock has been lightly sanded at some point and a dark stain applied. Checkered wrist is smooth to the touch. Action holds at half and full cock.
