Description:
Follows Major Flager's letter of March of 1881 with two hole suggestion to accommodate both Colt and S&W .44/.45 revolvers. Of the four arsenal sizes this the medium size which fits Whitney and Colt Navy .36 revolvers and the .38 cf and rf conversions of the 1870's. There is no "US" stamp and it has the arsenal update medium belt loop. Flap has been reinforced with thin deerskin and edge has been restiched to duplicate original. Large frame revolvers do not fit .
