Collectible German Crossbow by Geissen circa 1950
Manufactured in post-war Germany circa 1950, by I. Geissen, Muenchen (Munich), which is the name engraved in the steel track (flight groove plate) under the bowstring. This crossbow has not been fired in decades, but carefully stored. Draw weight unknown. The sight aperture is slightly damaged (see photo). The trigger mechanism needs repair. Six original wooden steel-tipped bolts are included.
