"NSN. Made circa 1820. Approximately 55 caliber with a 47" barrel. This is a nice sharp gun with a smooth brown patina on metal. The barrel is decorated with gold damascene work. The wood is very good overall, however there is a repair on the forend by the barrel band. The English made lock is marked “Staudenmaye". The Afghan guns made with this type of stock were from the Sind region which falls in modern day Pakistan. This is a very fine example of a Afghan Rifle\
