LWRC‚‚s patented, self-regulating, short-stroke gas piston system is precision machined from the super alloy family of steels that are used in aerospace programs. The Dual Control ambidextrous lower receiver includes a bolt catch and release, magazine release and fire-control access from both sides. Manufactured by LWRCI for unfailing accuracy and durability, the NiCorr-treated, cold-hammer-forged barrel comes equipped with an A2 birdcage flash suppressor. LWRCI‚‚s nickel-boron-coated bolt carrier delivers unrivalled corrosion resistance, wear resistance and lubricity. This is an interesting rifle. It was acquired from a nuclear power plant security detail. It has plenty of handling and storage character but virtually no wear on the bolt, chamber, feed ramps or in the barrel. The insides are pristine.
