"Serial number 22790. Made circa 1880s. 44-40 caliber with a 5 ½"barrel. This gun has 60% of the original nickel finish. This gun is very nicely factory engraved with a Bull’s head vignette on the left hand side of the frame. Grips are very good. This is a 4th model large frame with the squared butt, top strap and folding hammer. Along with this gun comes a Piteado Holster that has the Mexican snake and eagle. The Belt has a leather buckle that also has the Mexican eagle and snake. Piteado holsters and belts were almost always made in Mexico.
