Serial No. 20950, circa early 1860's, .22 short RF, 3 3/16"" octagonal barrel. Barrel and cylinder have approximately 98% blue finish, markings are crips. Silver plated frame has a nice patina finish. Bore has light frosting visible in the grooves with handsome rifling noted. Two piece rosewood grips have light usage and handling wear. Action indexes correctly with a tight lock up. Beautiful Smith & Wesson! Consignment
