Each of these museum-quality masterpieces features a combination of etching and hand-engraving using the traditional, time-honored hammer-and-chisel technique to complement the lines of this sleek model. Engravers with years of experience hand-cutting artwork on firearms have been commissioned specifically for this historic project by America Remembers to engrave the oak leaves.
Each Museum Edition features extensive hand engraving across both sides of the slide; both sides of the frame; and across the top of the slide and the trigger, slide stop and thumb safety. The banner on the left side featuring the words of our Second Amendment, a Minute Man, and the Rampant Colt are etched in deep bas-relief into the slide for all to see. The Museum Hand-Engraved Edition is strictly limited to only 100 pieces worldwide.
