Here we present a beautiful Colt Anaconda manufactured in 1991, 8” barrel in Bright Stainless Steel, 6 round capacity, chambered in .44 magnum.
Black rubber grips bearing the Colt medallion, the Bright Stainless finish is in near perfect condition. The cylinder swings out smoothly and locks up tight, as it should.
Bore is shiny and bright. There is no evidence of powder residue on this gorgeous finish being evidence that there has been extremely little, if any, usage. This gem comes with original box and owners manual.
The design of the Anaconda was based on the look of the Python. The new AA frame was much larger, scaled up to handle the much more powerful cartridge. The barrel look was the same as the classic Python, with a vent rib on top and a full lug underneath. The internal components were different form the Python, however, and were based on the King Cobra/Trooper models.
The Colt snake revolvers are highly collectable and getting harder to find, particularly in this condition. This would be an excellent addition to your collection.
This revolver was imported and bears a discreet import marking.
