J. Kimball Arms Company Experimental Pistol chambered in .30 Carbine. This is a rare and unusual American made pistol. This is one of only 250-300 made. J. Kimball Arms Company of Detroit developed this pistol to use cheap and readily available .30 Carbine ammunition. The pistol, similar in design to the High Standard, is attractive and nicely finished. The .30 carbine may have been too powerful for a blowback pistol and the company soon went out of business. This pistol was manufactured in 1955. .30 Carbine
