It has a highly reliable Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor, a 3-position safety, and a cold hammer-forged barrel. It has integral scope mounts, machined directly on the solid-steel receiver. It has a checkered walnut stock and rubber recoil pad. Built in 2004. The 7mm-08 Remington is a rifle cartridge based on the .308 Winchester case necked down to accept 7 mm bullet with a small increase in case length.
