Henry Pieper 9.4mm x 16ga side by side hammer Cape Gun. Made in Belgium near 1892, I can not find another one to compare for more information. The 9.4mm is stamped on the rifle barrel, but could be a 9.3x62; no verification found.
Condition is exceptionally good for its age and is a rare high end gun. Engraved receiver top, bottom and side plates, opening lever, and forearm latch button. Set triggers, ornate horn trigger guard, sling swivels, raised cheek piece, checkered and carved stock and forearm, basket weave butt plate, adjustable front and rear sights.
