Description:
For your consideration, a Springfield M1922M1 chambered in .22 Long Rifle. Designed to mimic the feel of the M1903 for training purposes, the M1922 features the same bolt throw length and control configuration. Sighting consists of a Lyman globe front and Marble-Goss peep rear. Additionally, the right rear receiver wall has been drilled and tapped for a Lyman 48C rear peep which is included and for which the stock had been inletted but later plugged. The barrel and receiver ring have been drilled and tapped for additional optics. This example dates to August of 1926. .22 Long Rifle
