Original Colt Bullet Mold for the .36 Caliber Colt Navy Revolver. Top of the sprue cutter is marked COLT'S PATENT. Right side of mold body is a very faint "36B" for .36 Caliber Belt Revolver (1851 Navy). The inner surface of this mold still show some a trace or two of original blue and the cavities are in fine shape for both the conical and round balls. It's in good enough shape to make lead projectiles. The outer surfaces of this mold have been carefully cleaned (no buffing, no rounded edges) to bright after having gone through a sympathetic restoration in which dings and pits welded and rounded edges built back up. It looks great as it is and it will display perfectly...bright clean objects always do... or it can be left to age or even refinish as the surfaces and contours are pretty much there. You can even cast bullets with it and sell them to antique shops. $15.00 shipping via USPS Priority Mail to Lower US 48.
