REVOLUTIONARY WAR ERA FRENCH ST. ETIENNE PROOFED BRASS BARREL FLINTLOCK OFFICER’S PISTOL CIRCA 1760’S-70’S. 11” o/a with 5” canon muzzle .60 caliber brass barrel proofed at the left breech “A/CROSSED PALMS/C”. Nicely turned brass mounts. Walnut stock with floral silver wire inlay behind the barrel tang. Brass lock plate and original lock parts. Very good overall with old all original attic patina. Lock functions but mainspring is weak. Very good bore. Very handsome Revolutionary War French Officer’s pistol.
