Very distinctive New England style brass mounts with the unique elongated ramrod pipe common to many of these. Floral engraved lock signed “KETLAND” on the underside of the plate. Cherry stock with wood trumpet head wood rod. Superb condition overall with all the original metal patina and all the original stock finish. Lock in working order and very good bore. Very similar pistol certainly by the same maker sold from the Steve Hench collection by Morphy s lot 1134, October 2019 with estimates of $5000-$8000. Very rare and in superb all original condition.
