AMERICAN COLONIAL AND REVOLUTIONARY WAR ERA GERMAN FLINTLOCK OFFICER’S PISTOL CIRCA 1740-60’S. 15” o/a with 9” two stage round .60 caliber smoothbore barrel. Ornate high relief brass mounts with butt cap having a fine “GROTESQUE” masque. Ornately carved walnut stock with horn forend cap and horn tipped ramrod. Early “banana” form lock with all the original lock parts. Very good overall with lock in working order. Good bore. Stock with old wear. Nice all original Revolutionary War officer’s pistol.
