This model has proven itself in Canada in hunting tirbes. It is visible in the rare 1981 ARDENNLAME catalog, along with its leather hunting scabbard. Handle is stabilized wood, guard and butt cap in solid brass, made from 440-C stainless steel stock with a mirror finishing blade. This particular model is one of the very first that was made in February 1981. Blade bears the extremely scarce markings: ARDENNLAME 08260 MAUBERT-FONTAINE, and Jean Tanazacq across the ricasso.
