Jean Tanazacq unique prototype of a boot knife "TOURANE" is an extremely scarce model made on November 20, `1986 as it is a scarcity in Tanazacq's repertoire  with a 3-1/4" blade of 440-C stainless sttel stock, fitted with a large solid double brass guard, ivory handle further secured with two stainless steel rivets, wrist thong, rare double markings on blade: map of France and wild boar, scrimshaw by Jean-Pierre Coubert depicting a scorpion, (2003) rare black leather scabbard witha belt-clip on the back, This is the only book knife ever produced by the make, making it a scarcity in today's marketplace.
