Description:
Original two band 33" barrel made at Harpers Ferry with a small brass nose cap. Good rifling missing bayonet lug and replaced ramrod. Overall pitting but lock markings are readable and mechanically fine.
Picked up after the Battle of Fredericksburg and stored in a basement in Richmond as the story goes. Two sets of initials on back as many CS used arms are. Fine wood with two cartouches and an attractive
rifle and scarce. No barrel markings remain. Great story,
