MEXICAN WAR & CIVIL WAR U.S. MODEL 1840 HEAVY CAVALRY SABER AND SCABBARD. 43” o/a with 36” unmarked blade. Nickel plated scabbard with U.S. Ordnance Inspector “A.D.K.” stamp on drag. Very good and all original . Grip wrap and wire with wear. Blade with patina and moderate wear and some very light salt and pepper. Scabbard very good with wear as well. Hard to find early “WRIST BREAKER”.43” o/a with 36” unmarked blade. Nickel plated scabbard with U.S. Ordnance Inspector “A.D.K.” stamp on drag. Very good and all original .
